Nice people, excellent view, quiet place, it is not hot in there, and extremely atmospheric

The vibe of the area. The location. Amazing view. Friendly locals. Lovely lady who met us with the key. The authenticity of the apartment.

The low water pressure affected the shower, toilet and washing machine. No kettle. Bed uncomfortable and hard. Pillows also not very adequate had to put a rolled up quilt under to sleep. No bottle opener. No air con. Ants in bathroom and sitting room. Bathroom door a pain and noisy to open and close.

The surroundings and views. The local people.

It's more like a barn turned into a studio. There is no bathroom door. It feels like staying in a tent. There's no insulation - very cold (in Nov-Dec). Old, unusable kitchen utensils. Lots of sugar, but no coffee at all.

Our host, Giuci, was very helpful and met us at the piazza to help us get to the apartment in the safest and quickest way. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was beautifully hot in the morning. This apartment has the best-tasting tap water in Sicily! The apartment also has had a few changes since the posted photos were taken, as both the kitchen and shower look different than in the photos you see. Also, there is a single bed in addition to the double bed (as noted in the description but not shown in the current photos). Communication was good.

I would have loved to have the option of a little coffee or tea in the morning. Guests also should be aware that there is no Wi-Fi, and that heating is via a movable gas heater, although there are also ample additional blankets.

Lovely apartment, very traditional with good views and a comfy bed. The host met us at the post office and showed us the way - difficult to find yourself.

The view from the house was amazing.

It was on the top of a hill. The host didn’t mention how difficult its route was. Without a car it is impossible to reach, with a car quite challenging. The house is very old, I guess it belongs to the host’s grandmother 😄 We couldn’t find the house, fortunately some local girls helped us. It was nearly midnight and so difficult to find a person to ask the way but we were lucky. Nobody met us and the key was on the door. We stayed only one night so it is ok. But I never recommed it for a long stay. Even the towels were very very old, not soft at all.
