Cascais Seaside Home - 2 min away from the beach

Great apartment in a great location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and beaches. The outside terrace was lovely for relaxing. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The location was perfect. The house is cute. Communication with the host was average.

We were met on arrival with one set of keys for 4 adults. She was not able to provide us with more. We requested extra keys and it took two days. The kitchen was a nightmare. Plastic forks and kids utensils. Even if we were with children, the kitchen was equipped for a kindergarten. The refrigerator motor ran constantly and was disruptive. There was mold and rust inside the freezer. One toilet seat was broken in the kids bathroom, the walls had mold and the cabinets were damaged. We repaired the toilet twice while we were there and then got blamed for breaking it. The beds were HARD as STONE. This was the worst part. We could have and did endure the shortcomings of the home. The beds were the most disruptive. But to receive an email blaming us for the damage that we arrived to.....that is uncalled for.

We loved the 3 floors and 3 bathrooms, plenty of room for the 4 of us. The top floor living area was especially nice with the large outdoor patio. The location was great, short walk to restaurants and shops.

Master bedroom bed could be larger, more comfy.

The location is fantastic, and the design of the house was lovely. The rooftop terrace was a bonus to get sunlight into the apartment. It was great having 3 bathrooms.

The available bedding was meant for single beds, so the double bed sheets didn’t cover the bed. There were two twin duvets for a top sheet which were too big for a double bed. The kitchen didn’t have a microwave, which in a vacation rental is very inconvenient. There was no clothes line even though there is an outdoor space next to the kitchen for it. There was no dishwasher. The dining area was function but quite uncomfortable. The downstairs living area only had a two person sofa and no other chairs in front of the TV.

Wi-Fi did not reach the otherwise lovely terrace.
