Beach House Apartment

Nicely decorated and well equipped, in a very good quiet location near restaurants and about 15 mins walk from the beach

Lovely apartment, well equipped, very good location, close to everything - centre, restraunts/ bars, train station, supermarket and bus terminal.

The apartment was very tired , it was only superficially clean. The kitchen again was below what we should have expected , around the sink was wood , this was wet and mouldy , inside of dishwasher dirty . Old half used food stuffs , oil , coffee in a jar that was so old it was solidified , other opened packets, unhygienic to say the least ! A wooden cutting board which had black mould on it . Lots of other unacceptable elements in this kitchen A plug socket right above the kitchen sink and an other inside a cupboard which looked unsafe ! The bathroom shower doors were unstable and came off the tracks , also grubby . There was a piece of metal poking through the inside of the bathroom door . The bed was old and uncomfortable , my partner had to sleep on the sofa as with two of us in the bed it was too uncomfortable and bed too creeky . The bedroom air-con was too noisy to have on at night , also dirty . So many things in this apartment that were below what we would have expected for this price range , so much of it was grubby and not cared for . Needs to be renovated and described properly . Only good thing was where it was . We didn’t enjoy our stay here at all , it ruined the end of our holiday in lovely Portugal

It was in a great location - lovely quiet square and near the nicest restaurants and stores. It was very cosy and Nuno was very kind and responsive and helped immediately when necessary

I think it could do with a bit of updating and a new shower door - but it had a cosy atmosphere.

The apartment was ideally located close to really excellent restaurants for the evening in a quiet residentia area. But only a 7 minute walk to the beach and busier area of cascais. The owner/ landlord was incredibly helpful at every point of the stay!

Not really anything!

I needed data roaming, which I hadn't paid for when I arrived to be able to access the instructions for getting into the street door of the property. Without a friend who did have internet access, I would not have been able to do this, so I wonder if there is a method less technology-reliant which would make this easier? Once we were in and had the key to the outside door, it was fine. The apartment was adequate and had all that we needed. However, the shower screen and some of the other fittings were not of the highest quality and therefore the overall feel was not one of luxury - the shower screen was particularly cheap feeling and kept coming off its rollers. But the water was very hot (too hot!) and the air conditioning was very effective so the things that really mattered worked brilliantly. There were some basic food items (condiments and oil) in the cupboard which was great, and we had washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and everything else we needed. Plenty of hanging space for clothes, and hangers (although, again, these were a bit cheap and bendy!). There were only 2 mugs provided - it's useful to know that UK visitors like our tea and require a good supply of mug, preferably large! There was plenty of other crockery and cutlery.

The shower screen and the bathroom cupboard were very cheap looking.

Very well located, I highly recommend for anyone who wants a nice and calm holidays.

Excellent location close to the center

Ground floor (can be seen from the street). Ventilation in the bathroom didn’t work and it smelled. The bed and mattress seem to be old. Whenever somebody turns around, it makes a lot of noise

We loved the beach vibe in the house and everything you could ever want in terms of appliances were in the kitchen.

We cooked our own breakfast each day before heading out. The kitchen was well stocked and stores were easy to find. The restaurants in the neighborhood were fantastic. We especially liked Soya, but there are many great choices. We loved the mercado which is open wednesday and saturdays.

That we had to leave. :-( We hope to come back in the future and look forward to staying here again. We'd recommend this place to our friendss.
