Beach House Old Town

Beach House Old Town is set in the perfect location for exploring Cascais. Abundant, good restaurants close by and an easy walk to the beach and surrounds. The apartment itself was perfect for us and the pictures on the website are a true reflection of the amenities and decor. All in all, a memorable stay. Thank you, Nuno.

This is not a reflection on Beach House Old Town, but more a heads up to visitors with a hire car. There is no free parking in Cascais so if you have a hire car, you must be prepared to top up the parking meter every 4 hours from 0900-2200 daily in the square close to the apartment.

The room is beautiful and it’s obvious the hosts have put a lot of thought and effort into making the experience as lovely as possible. It’s only 5-10 minutes away from the beach and right next to the town centre. The beach towels are a very nice touch and I especially liked the addition of a smart tv.

Only thing against it is that it was a little loud sometimes due to the restaurants next to it, but that’s no fault of the room or the hosts, just worth mentioning. I didn’t struggle too much falling asleep despite the noise and I am a light sleeper!

The location couldn’t have been better, as it was conveniently situated near all amenities and tourist sights. Being close to everything made exploring the area effortless and enjoyable. However, one aspect to consider, especially for older travelers, is the noise levels from the restaurant next door. While the vibrant atmosphere adds to the charm of the area, it might be a bit too lively for those seeking a quieter stay. Light sleepers or individuals sensitive to noise may want to take precautions, such as using the earplugs provided or traveling with your own. Despite this minor inconvenience, the accommodation itself was comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the amenities provided added to the overall convenience of the stay. With a prime location and attentive service, it’s definitely worth considering for those looking to immerse themselves in the heart of the city.

The apartment is small but more then adequate in size for a couple. The location is great since it’s in the heart of Cascais’ old town. The old town area has beautiful and colorful buildings and is great for walking. Also, the property is close to beaches, restaurants, bars, grocery markets, etc.. There were beach towels and an beach umbrella available for our use at the property. That was nice since we didn’t have to rent an umbrella.

We had problems with locking/unlocking the front door but figured out the system after a day. The property is on a busy and narrow street but the apartment was quiet when the window was closed. The restaurant next door has dancing on Saturday nights and is open until 2 am. It was loud but the property manager addressed the problem with the restaurant and we didn’t have problems after that.

Unbeatable location in Cascais old town right next to the best restaurants and bars. Can’t fault it. 30 seconds from the beach and facilities were exceptional, stay here in Cascais!!! 🩷
