USthe place had everything you could ask for besides a tv. nice air circulation. with the balcony and strong wifi.
there were hairs all over the place. there was really loud construction but the owners responded right away to temper it. it’s about 25 mins to the beach or a real grocery store by foot.

Lots of construction noise outside, and the flat could generally do with a bit of renovation work.
BEPart of the reason for choosing this accommodation was the reasonable price compared to the steep high season rates in most of Cascais. We found the studio convenient and quite comfortable - just a bit worn down in some respects - with good wifi and a small patio overlooking the hills in the north-west. Although we did not meet the owners personally, they kept in daily touch with us, showing care for our well-being and offering tips for sightseeing and getting around (including a pleasant walk along a path in the valley downtown).
The cleaning company clearly had not fulfilled its task this time (crumbs on a chair; hair on the bathroom floor; and just a lot of dirt on the patio floor). When we mentioned this to the owners they kindly offered to come and clean up themselves (but we declined and did it ourselves). Maybe we just got unlucky but I was seriously bothered by the noise during our entire stay: construction work inside the building during the day; neighbors watching tv until at least 2 am at most nights; other neigbors getting up at 5.30 am one morning - it made it hard to truly find some rest and relaxation.
