"Magnificent place"

The house is set in a charming rustic Swiss village with an authentic feel without a trace of tourism. For wintertime its location is very convenient to reach either Arosa or Lenzerheide ski resorts as they are equally far from Castiel (30 min drive). The access from the main road is easy even in the winter as the roads are cleared of snow. The owners respond immediately to any query. The apartment, albeit 200 old, is very clean and well maintained, having all modern furnishings on top with the super-comfortable large bathroom. It is a truly recommended offer to spend a good time in the Swiss Alps.

"Very narrow, sloped roads towards property next ti cliff- horrifying; this definitely needs to be disclosed with interna"

The view

The road towards the property is very narrow and right next to the cliff. I would have never booked if I knew the road was that dangerous and narrow. We arrived early September and weather was still hot so we had to keep windows open while sleeping. The windows had no mosquito nets and all of us, including my toddler got bitten MULTIPLE times.

The 200 yr old wooden house itself is from a fairytale:) beautifully renovated while kept its original vibe&feel. Kitchen and bathroom is top-notch. There is a 0x24 'shop' next door with honor system. The scenery is second to none, the kind that pictures cannot capture. Wifi is good for listening to music to accompany the kind of tranquility this house represents:) the road from Chur is a bit adventorous (stimes no lanes) but if you are used to drive in the mountains then it's not an issue. In the living room there are toys for kids and board games too:)
