Cocciu d’Amuri Home

Everything! Cute, super stylish, new appliances, well equipped, soundproof windows. The host let me check in earlier and check out a bit later according to my travel schedule which was very appreciated. Loved the bed and pillows, smell of towels, clean floors- everything was spotless and it’s so important to me because I’m a bit OCD about cleanliness. Cute Christmas decorations created a festive mood. For those who are not happy about host not speaking English- use Google translate- I personally had no issues communicating that way as I speak absolutely zero Italian- Nunzia is very friendly and patient.

Some noise from outside (which is expected) and noise from neighbors (but was fixed by closing bedroom door at night)

Very friendly host, very clean, very nice beds and a good apartment for kids.

It was in a traditional location with a modern twist, clean and well presented. A few essentials left by the owner was a lovely touch

- Extra touches like the drinks in the fridge, comfortable mattress, delicious snacks/breakfast - modern bathroom - Useful kitchen with everything you need - Great location - Comfortable bed

- The water went off for almost 24 hours during my stay and, whilst the owner did everything she could to fix the problem promptly, I did not receive any compensation for not being able to use the shower or flush the toilet for almost 24 hours (which was one third of my stay). This has impact my rating of value for money, comfort and facilities. - Early check out time (although the owner did allow me to check out at 11:30am, the actual time is earlier) - The door is self-locking and there is no lock box so when I locked myself out of the apartment at 2:30am it took until 8:30am for the owner to reach the premises to let me back in. Installing a lock box containing a spare key would appear to be the prudent course of action.

Located on a Main Street and walking distance to all the historic sites and the main plaza, plenty of eating places, grocery market up the street, 2bedrooms and kitchen/living all with aircon, secure, on 1st floor (20 steps up) spacious apartment, all the things you need for a stay in Catania

Nothing, maybe a toaster but I don’t think it’s really an Italian thing, we used the oven grill :)

The apartment was very new, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay in Catania. Everything is close within walking distance.

It was a lovely stay at Cocciu d’Amuri Home, super friendly and helpful host. It's just under 10mins walk to Piazza del Duomo, very convenient. Everything is what you have seen in the pics on booking.com.

Nothing I didn't like. The second bedroom hasn't got a blackout blind, maybe it is good to have one...

The apartment was clean, well equipped and perfectly located. The host also provided bottled waters and some snacks, which was very kind! Air-conditioners in every room were great.

The second bedroom was very small and more suitable for a child.
