Very clean and cozy apartment, nice space outdoors, the building is freshly renovated. Location is great: around 8 min walk to main train station, nice store (coop) in 2 mins walk. The hostess was helpful and responsive during our stay.

It would have been an amazing stay, if not the problem with electricity in the water. The tap water in bathroom and kitchen was stinging randomly. It happened sometimes when electrical grid was overload (e.g. when the cooktop was working, or air conditioning). It was really uncomfortable to take showers and wash hands/dishes, and it's potentially really dangerous. We have notified about the issue as soon as it started happening. The hostess was responsive, came to the apartment to help and check, even though it was late at the evening. She helped to confirm that it happens when the cooktop is working. We didn't want to spoil our vacation, and suggested that we could turn off the electricity in the whole bathroom while using it. The issue continued to happen during our whole stay. Unfortunately, there was no visit from the electrician during our stay, so I suspect that this is a structural problem with the apartment, which was already known to the host.

Good location, near Catania Centrale train station, about 9 minutes walking distance. There is a Coop supermarket 1 minute near. The apartment has AC and a fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation is in according with the pictures provided on Booking.com.

Easy to get from airport to apartment by ALIBUS. Supermarket close by home. Apartment was clean and worm during winter time. We enjoyed our stay.

The portable wifi was really really handy. Washing machine was great as well. It was a very nice quaint place with a lovely interior. Had a backyard to relax as well. The room was nice and cosy with aircon and a sunroof.

Communication about the arrival time. We wanted to arrive earlier than the set time, and we communicated this. We got what seemed to be a positive reply (accepting our early arrival), however this wasn't clear. We ended up having to wait for hours until the hosts arrived. The sunroof was a little difficult to operate.
