Great location. Excellent restaurant across the courtyard

This was an amazing property with everything you could want. It was immaculate. Initially we were concerned about the narrow lanes and the area looked a bit sleazy. But after a few hours walking around we realised that it was indeed central to most things and a very short walk to the main piazza.

Only our initial impression was a concern. There was nothing else that we didn't like. Catania itself was very disappointing with graffiti and dirty streets when you walk away from the central areas.

This apartment was equipped with everything you could think of. We wanted for nothing. It was spacious, clean and really comfortable. It is a bit challenging to find, but then so is everything else in Catania. It was within a short walk to the sites, the fish market and restaurants. And the private parking spot gave real peace of mind.

The matress was firmer than I would prefer, but my husband had no problem with it. I realize that this is a personal preference and that there is not much the owner can do about this.

The location was great once I realized how close it was to the center.
