Zagarella House

Good location, very close to the centre. The host Riccardo is a very nice person. He gave us some recommenations on restaurants and places to go to. The terrace has a great view on the old city and the Etna volcano! There is a nice breakfast place nearby, also recommended by our host and the owner is also a very nice person.

The owner, Ricardo was supernice,very helpful. He picked us up at the airport and took us there on our last day. He also gave us a short sightseeing tour of the area,with a few tips where to go for breakfast etc. The beautiful view from the huge terrace to Etna and the city. We basically chose the flat because of this and were lucky enough to see Etna ( it depends on the weather). 15-20 mins walk to city centre.

The shower is very small, it was a bit uncomfortable. Generally,the flat could do with a bit of renovation. It did not affect our stay too much,we had a great time, but not everyone will accept a bit of a leaking in the bathroom, the general condition of the shower or the kitchen stuff. For those,who are not good sleepers it might not be the best choice: the whole building was very noisy;the elevator, the entrance door of the building, and the other tenants in the house.

Bathroom and shower could be bigger.

Outstanding large terrace, perfect view on Mount Etna, also very romantic in the evening. The room was squeaky clean. Host Riccardo was very kind and was willing to make our stay even better.

A perfectionist might not enjoy the location, but it was compensated for the terrace view.
