Appartamento CHARLES

We had such a nice stay in this apartment in Cefalu: the location was perfect, the rooms nicely decorated and big. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go back here! 🥰

The appartement is big. The location great, just between the train station and the beach and just a few blocks from the centre and old town. The communication with the host quick, but all replies were in Italian.

There are extra charges for towels and bedsheets which we were not aware of. The provided towels and sheets were of low quality. There was an extremely complicated system of trash handling for which the responsibility was assigned to the guest unless given a charge of 50 euros. Some trash was only collected once a week or every second week so impossible to dispose of everything on the last day of stay unless putting everything in public bins on the streets. The single beds in one of the two bedrooms were tiny and not the same hight so we were not able to push them together to create a larger surface for sleeping. The pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable, sagging in the middle and made loud noises at every movement. There was no AC in the kitchen which was really hot. All rooms (except the bathrooms) where furnished with old, wobbely and some broken furniture.

Whole property is very spacious. two bathrooms with a toilet ideal for a family of six. AC in all 3 bedrooms/living room . Very communicative host (does not speak english but translater is enough)

The location is very central, close to the beach, restaurants and cafes and historic centre.

The furnishing in the living space is not comfortable, not enough seating. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Two flights of stairs unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems. The bedding and towels were very old.

The location of the property is excellent close to the beach and center of town

The host is a lovely lady and it's in a great location.

The kitchen was equipped in a way that didn't feel sufficiently generous. I'm sure this was partly a cultural thing - for example no large cups. The seemed "no extra" of anything so that I was often looking for a bowl or a knife or something that wasn't there. If the owner stayed there for 4 days with two or three others then I think she would makes some changes. Also, there is no on street parking arrangement and this can be tricky at busy times or, say, on arrival. Car parks aren't far though.
