Cefalù Cathedral Palace

Awesome apartment in Cefalu. Right next to the cathedral palace and main square with plenty of food and drink options. A very short walk to the beach. The apartment itself was amazing. Such a cool space that really fits the vibe of the city. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location on the Piazza del Duomo ten steps from the entry gate. We loved staying in a 18th century palazzo with wonderful cafes just outside the door. We enjoyed the evening entertainment from the balcony. Then, after closing the balcony doors, we found the apartment was quiet despite the ongoing activity outside. The host, Antonio, was both personable and professional. He went out of his way to make our stay in Cefalù enjoyable. Virtually every aspect of the apartment is curated and well maintained. Good air conditioning. We loved having a library. We were happy to have a washer. We four (adults) had plenty of space to feel comfortable. Overall, Cefalù Cathedral Palace provided an outstanding experience for us.

Wonderful location, very spacious flat, has everything you need. Excellent soundproofing so you don't hear anything from the main square below. Good and helpful communication from the owner.

Linens were very weathered and old.

Location was amazing. Faced Cefalu Duomo. We could hear the music and energy of the town from balcony. Doors were soundproof for sleeping. We appreciated the large size for family of 4. So much Italian charm. Amazing building with high ceilings and lots of pretty tiles and antique furnishings. Very spacious and clean apartment. Laundry room was great asset. Air conditioning was strong in all rooms. 5 minute walk to beach. Amazing Duomo cafe on corner and restaurants minutes out door. Side street restaurants were delicious. We loved our visit in this unique property and Cefalu. Town felt family friendly. Very accommodating host. We would stay here again.

Almost nothing. Cobblestone walk to train station with suitcase. But we did see taxis around. That was our choice.

It was a beautiful property. Luxurious and super clean. There was was one small problem, the second lovely bedroom is off the living room and separated by only by a curtain and its bathroom is down a tight circular stairway from the kitchen. A proper folding wooden door would make the bedroom feel private. And as the room is really a library, perhaps one bookshelf could relocate to the main bedroom and a hanging wardrobe with a door, to which a print of books on shelves could be applied. This would give guests a place to hang & lay out their clothing. That said, this property is a wonderful place in which to stay, with a near perfect central location.

This is not about the property but the 20 meters from the top of the square to the door of the property is a very difficult walk for anyone with mobility issues as the steps are high and the rest of the ground is very uneven.

The location in the old town adjacent to the Cathedral was amazing. Beautiful spacious apartment with a little balcony overlooking the lovely town square.

Having to leave after three perfect days!

Beautifully decorated, convenient location and the bedrooms had lots of space. The kitchen had all needed items and lots of glasswsre to choose from. The Cathedral location was great and with the doors shut, no piazza sound disturbed and it was lovely to sit on the balcony. The living room/ dining area was large and comfortable. A great restaurant directly below. Apartment owner was very responsive and agreeable. It had everything we needed.

The apartment may not be ideal for 2 couples of a more mature age as the second, small bathroom & laundry is down a very steep, small circular staircase with small footpads, in the basement. There is no closet or armoire to hang clothes in the lovely second bedroom.
