"A special home in Cefalú, especially if you come by car!"

If you are traveling with a car to Cefalú there is no better place to stay. The location is close enough to the beach and town center to be easily walkable, while still being in a more quiet part of town with the reserved parking spot. The apartment was sparkling clean and very comfortable to stay in. Lorenzo has accented this home with many beautiful works of art and cabinetry he's made himself. He is a host with a lot of love for his guests and Sicilian culture. He was very attentive in giving recommendations, checking in with us during our stay, and making us feel at home.

The kitchen is beautiful but if you intend to cook for a family, there are only enough settings of plates/utensils for two people. Also, read the fine print of the host notes and be prepared for some unique rules (cash deposit, additional fees for excessive AC usage...) that protect both Lorenzo as a host and you as a guest. Once I understood them, everything was great!

Good communication, met us in the car park and showed us around the apartment. Handy given the parking situation and ZTL in Cefalu. About 5-minute walk to the centre, 10-minute walk to the beach so nice and close and no problem staying 'slightly further out'. We were located next to a very popular pasta place and gelato place. We arrived early at around 12 (I think check-in was 13:00) and our host happily met us at the private parking and allowed us to park. He even let us leave our car in the car park until we were leaving the next day at around 13:00 again which was very nice. Aircon in the apartment is strong, apartment is nice and big and bathroom is clean. It was our last day and we didn't want to keep cash so we negotiated with the host about the 100 euro deposit and he agreed to 10 euros instead which was very nice of him. Overall, good stay and location. Helpful and flexible host. Free parking provided in 20-space normal sized parking lot.

The shutter in our bedroom was broken and didn't come down so it was quite bright in the morning. We were only staying 1 night so I didn't mention to host but I think he fixed it quite easily for next guests.

Perfect stay in this appartment. Very close to the beach and the old town. Happy with the private parking and the manager Lorenzo is very friendly and has good advices for whole Sicilia! 👌👌👌
