It was a fantastic stay. Location is great for sea holidays as it is possible to swim from the cliff just under the windows if the sea is calm, otherwise it takes only 5 minutes to get to the sandy city beach - you can get there by a picturesque cliff way (enough comfortable even in slippers) or by cozy streets. It takes only 20 minutes walk to Kallura beach which is esp beautiful in the morning. We were astonished by attitude of our host even knowing Sicilian hospitality. He met us at the station late in the evening and took us back early in the morning of the departure day. We have got all kind of advises and support during our stay. Kitchen was not only fully equipped to make an easy lunch or dinner but we found all the spices, oil, pasta and plenty of other stuff incl bear and lemonade in the fridge. We had everything one could need during a short holiday in a beautiful sea city starting from iron Thank you! We know where we will stay our next time in Cefalu.

Stairway is quite steep but easily manageable for adults with knees in good condition. An extra lamp at the sofa in the sitting room could be a good idea.

The view was exceptional. Wish I had that view at home! Nicola responded to any enquiry quickly, good host.

I can’t thank Nico enough for his gracious hospitality. He waited for me to arrive from the airport even though I was delayed, made sure I had a wonderful stay throughout and so kindly returned my glasses when I forgot them. Thank you! 😊

Nicola’s place has a spectacular view of the sea. everything about the place is comfortable- the kitchen is extremely well-stocked, comfortable bed, good heating in cold weather, all good. but it’s Nicola himself that makes it even more special. he picked us up at the train and drove us back in the rain. he left us fresh oranges and lemons and checks in regularly. he is a treasure.

THE HOST WAS SUPER KIND AND HELPFUL. HE ARRIVED WITH HIS SON TO ACCOMPANY US TO THE FREE PARKING LOT AND TO HELP US TAKE THE LUGGAGE UP THE STAIRS. HE DID THE SAME WHEN WE LEFT THE APARTMENT.

Nicole is one of the most welcoming and warm host we have come across. Internet / WiFi speed was great and I had no issue working remotely from here. House is pretty and the view of the sea is definitely good. I would love to mention that the moonlight on the sea surface, just about when moon rises, creates a magical feel which you can witness from his balcony. He left bottles of Prosseco and wine, some snacks and few basic items for cooking like oil, salt, etc which was very helpful. Also, we enjoyed the coffee he left for us. Nicole is very kind and always ready to help. His house has everything.

Perfect location and views, authentic style!

Lovely view, excellent facilities and some food provided - everything you could have needed was there! Very friendly, considerate host who picked us up from the station and took us back there too for departure. The host was easily contactable if needed. Lovely stay overall.

Unfortunately the steps to the apartment were very high and steep for my mother (in her 70s) - she managed, but worried about them each time. The lighting was dim on the stairwells. It's quaint but you need to be fit and careful on the stairs! If the stairs were easier, my mother would definitely return. A small thing - it would be more comfortable to have the TV in the lounge
