No. 23 at The Moorings, Chester

The location was perfect, close to the city centre but also quiet and relaxed. The views of the River Dee both from one bedroom and the living room were amazing. Had we needed it, the kitchen was well equipped. Suitable for the elderly due to limited stairs.

Lukewarm water in both the shower and bath. Flimsy sunblinds. A total lack of advisory instructions. The lighting wasn't good enough to read by in the living room. We could have done with a number for emergencies. For the prices charged, we would have expected better maintenance. We had booked breakfast but it was a bit restrictive having to wait until 9.30am.

Great location, great breakfast, wonderfully helpful staff. The room came with all amenities required and was clean, comfortable and a perfect size for 4 guests.

The apartment was stunning and no expense was spared on the decor/furnishings. It had lovely views of the river with the added bonus of a terrace with comfy outdoor seating. The breakfast was also really nice.

Nothing really, but in light of the size of each of the bedrooms, it would be an added luxury for them to have a king size bed. This is by no means a criticism but just a suggestion/observation.

Great location and apartment immaculate and spacious, lovely staff and breakfast was nice.

Beds were very soft and only doubles so would expect king size for such a lovely apartment. Really disappointing as apartment luxurious but not the beds. Also could have had some shower gel in shower, seems bit strange to not have it yet other comforts.

The location overlooking the river Dee was beautiful and it was very close to the city centre. Both bedrooms were large and was plenty of space for all three of us.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Great hosts, breakfast and location. Apartment was comfortable and clean and really enjoyable to stay in.

It would be great to have some toiletries in the bathrooms for those travelling from abroad eg. small shower gels, more toilet roll. Rubber on the steps up and down would be a great safety feature for when it is raining. A parking space where guests can freely leave and return would be wonderful.
