The place was very dirty. Dirty kitchen appliances, dirty pillows, and duvets. We had to ask the host for new pillows or it would be impossible to sleep there.

A special location in Comines, a small French-Belgian border town, with the bridge between Belgium and France right in the middle of town. You wake up on the Belgian side and when you go to buy breakfast you walk over to the supermarket in France! Great location for exploring the Flanders on both sides of the border and/or visiting beautiful cities such as Lille and Kortrijk. A comfortable apartment with a nice loft and a kitchen with all the amenities for preparing your own food. Free parking in the street and restaurants within short walking distance.

There was a problem with electricity in the kitchen area, but this was a minor issue with the host could solve. A curtain in the living room area would have been helpful during the period of the morning when the sun shone right on the TV and the breakfast table - also a minor issue. In general the apartment fitted our needs and we really liked staying there.
