The location is great, with a few minutes walk you can get a stunning view of Siena and the countryside. The apartman was big and comfortable. Parking is ok. The local wine is great, we have bought a few bottles. There are a few big supermarkets within 15minutes drive.

As the owner explained to us, in this region they can't start the central heating before November as a general rule by the government. But since we had a week there with very bad weather it was really cold, especially in the bedroom. Some small local heating appliance would be a great solution for this.

Superb traditional Tuscan villa with generous rooms and outside gardens, patios etc. There was a Roman-style bathroom in our apartment that is a unique experience. The area is gorgeous for stargazing and landscape watching. I loved the feeling of old in the house - it reminded me of my grandma's house in all its best aspects. A bit of childhood nostalgia in the middle of Tuscany. Gian Paolo (father) and Pietro (son) are great hosts - full of advice and directions and they live there so they can help in no time. You can buy wine and olive oil produced in their own Fattoria di Corsano. If you get there at the right time of the year (mid-end Aug) you may even enjoy the fullest sweet grape directly from the vine (like we did :-)).

Nothing to say here. Perhaps one minor improvement could be if they offered some traditional homemade Tuscan food. We were just curious how different that is from regular restaurants. But never have a worry - Pietro will gladly help you and make reservations for you at the best places to eat around there.
