Sisters’home

I stayed here for two months and the apartment was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler/digital nomad. I found the property very conducive to work with strong Wi-Fi as well as a central location that made it easy to do the shopping and get back to work. The bathroom and washing machine were together in a large space and the modern style made it easy to manage for a long stay away from home.

Sometimes at night the motorcycles and by passers on the street would get loud, but it was all part of city living and was a nice vibe most of the time.

Great location, new and comfortable furnishings. Check in was very easy and I was even able to check out a little bit later than the scheduled time. Nice host.

Not very light inside (in terms of natural light) but this can’t be helped. Missing some basics I think would make a big difference to the apartment (spatula, wooden spoon, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar).

First, it was impeccably clean. It is perfectly, and tastefully furnished with all that anyone needs. The hostess was gracious beyond expectations, and accommodated that fact that I arrived hours later than expected due to a train strike. She even arranged transportation for me from the train station. The location was a very short walk (like one minute) from the piazzas. It was simply perfect.

It’s on one of the main little entrances into the city, and people on the street below can be loud at late hours. However, once the windows are closed, it’s quiet inside.

It is a warm and fabulous studio in the heart of the heart of Cortona. Eveything was excellent! Thank you, so, so much Elena! Gramsci and all :)
