Well set up, friendly owners,spacious

Lovely accommodation with great views. The welcome hamper was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

A beautiful,spacious and comfortable lodge in an amazing position overlooking Douglas Bay. Watching the ferries coming in and out of port was fantastic as we were so close. David and Elaine had thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable. The place was spotless and very well equipped. True to say that it is a bit of a climb to get to the lodge but more of a slope than a hill and there are steps you can use. All in all a great place to stay and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. We didn't want to leave.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and everything was thought about. We particularly loved the hamper full of treats and appreciated the milk and juice. Being Gluten free, I was thrilled to find things in the hamper that even I could have. The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The men in the family particularly enjoyed watching the ships go in and out of the harbour during our stay. We would definitely stay at Ravenscliffe again.

The only thing I would say is that my parents really struggled with the sofas. They were too low and the cushions weren't easy to get comfy with and maybe had seen better days. But that is all I can think of to say. Everything else was wonderful.
