Everything. This is our 4th visit to the School by the Sea. The apartment is always beautifully clean. It has everything you need and more. Nothing is ever a bother for the wonderful host, Nicky.

I sincerely apologize for the delay in sharing my wonderful experience. I can confidently say that the landlady in New Zealand is not only incredibly beautiful but also has the kindest heart. Her warmth and hospitality truly set her apart. The house she rents out is ideally situated just a short distance from the beach. A leisurely stroll to the shore takes merely about 10 to 15 minutes, and from the comfort of the house, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the beach and the gently rolling ocean waves stretching out into the distance. The house itself is a gem. It's fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. Every corner is spotlessly clean and neatly arranged, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. In the backyard, there's a charming farm where various animals roam freely. Lambs, in particular, add a touch of pastoral charm as they frolic around. The landlady goes the extra mile by providing complementary food, allowing you to engage in the delightful activity of feeding these adorable creatures. For added convenience, washing machines and fryers are available for shared use with the family. What's more, the thoughtful design and layout of the house are extremely child-friendly, with an abundance of toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. During my two-night stay, the landlady was an absolute delight. Her kindness and hospitality made me feel right at home, and she generously shared many interesting stories and local insights with me. Looking back, I feel a deep sense of pride and contentment for having had the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place. It's truly an experience I will cherish for a long time.

The accomodation was extremely clean, it was very comfortable and excellent location

I thought the lounge/relaxation area was too small if there are more than 3 people where do the others sit, needs a bigger space located away from the entry. Or put television in the bedroom with 4 beds perhaps.

Wonderful outdoor areas for the kids to play and explore, heaps of sports equipment to use , everything you need in the kitchen, Nespresso machine 🙌🏻 Everything is super clean! Lovely, friendly hosts.

Very relaxing location away from the city. Unique building and layout.

The location was perfect, very close to a lovely beach and not far from the centre of Dunedin. The accommodation was really spacious and contained everything you needed. Nicky is a lovely, friendly and welcoming host. The bed was one of the most comfortable one we've slept in and had the best nights sleep yet on our travels.
