Highgrange Apartments

Location was very good. House was beautiful.

A beautiful, quiet setting, lovely grounds with farm fields surrounding and easy access to the market and cafe across the road. The apartment is very comfortable, attractive, and efficient, easily accommodating six of us.

A small concern about the beautiful large bathroom with slippery marble floors and no grab bars.

We were not aware it was on 2nd floor and that was a mobility issue for me and awkward for pets. Also one of the sofa beds was on the landing.

The apartment was a good size. The main bedroom was very large, as was the bed.

The bathroom needs work. It really let down the whole stay. The cistern in the toilet takes at least half an hour to refill, so you can flush it very rarely, which is a serious problem when there is more than one person staying. There are also no hooks in the bathroom. No where to put your towels. The bottles of hand soap, shampoo and shower gel were all either completely empty or basically empty, which was a very disappointing oversight. There were no hooks to hang jackets either. Also very expensive, given that it's not in a city. Also wish it was decorated for Christmas. At least minimally, like a wreath on the front door. It was a bit cold to stay here in Christmas with no decorations.

5* stay Immaculate apartment with beautiful comfortable beds . Stylish living area with soft sofas and beautiful views. Spotless modern kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
