Enfield Chase Apartment

The location was good, near two subway stations and close to the ground transport

We were 4 people but with 1 key connection. We were warned to be careful with the key, but no one warned us that the lock was jamming. One of the nights we got home late, around midnight, the key broke in the lock when trying to unlock it and got stuck inside. We tried to contact the landlords on the two phones provided, but both were answered by an answering machine. We recorded messages to the landlords. We had no choice but to enter through the open window into the second floor bedroom. The landlord never returned a call, but only wrote a message here in Booking. They provided us with a second key connection, thanks to the account of a witness from the adjacent apartments. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. About apartment - There were dirty stains on the linens, trash on the ground, and mold in the tea pot.

Great location for transport and restaurants/pubs. Good hot water supply.

Probably needs a refresh. Chipped/ grubby mugs, no homely touches such as clean dishcloth/ kitchen towels.

Good location near the station, shops and buses. Basic accommodation for extended stay had enough for what we needed

Place smelled of smoke including towels and bedding, we found cigarettes outside window from previous tenant, which was out of hosts control. There were no basics supplied so make sure you bring salt and pepper, very basic and outdated utilities.

Highly recommended for brief and long stays.

Just a little tip to improve facilities: it could be nice to have kitchen scales, scales weigh people, a richer choice of cookware (non-stick kitchen pans).

I liked pretty much everything about this property there’s not much to complain about it was clean and convenient

The only issue is the shower is slightly broken and spins towards the window which makes it kinda hard to wash hair

Perfect location for us, very warm and cosy. The host was exceptional and extremely helpful. Would stay again if the opportunity arose. Loved staying there.
