BnB Antwerpen - CHIQUE

The apartment is very clean and is kept with big love and attention to details. We had everything we needed: tea, coffee capsules, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil and even beautiful napkins for the table. Hot water worked perfectly, without any interruptions and toilet worked perfectly. No problem with water flash as i expected as the building is located in the old city center. Internet worked perfectly well! Apartment is located in the very heart of the city, but it is a quite area, no disturbing sounds from the bars or restaurants! Just to note that I would add a microwave. Other than this kitchen is perfectly equipped. (But I admit this is a personal preference!!!!). The washing machine is not located in the apartment, but it is a shared one for few apartments in this building.

This is already mentioned in the description, so it is not something you discover by surprise: 1.The stairs. Easy to climb without the suitcase, but if you have a large suitcase - you need to be careful, easy to fall. 2. Wooden floors... Every step from people on the upper floor is heard. It is totally ok during the day, but at night it is really disturbing, because you literally hear every small step the neighbours do. Despite this I would book this apartment again for my next trip in Antwerp!

There was nothing to not like. Stairs very steep if you have mobility problems but fine for us.

Very stylish and super clean apartment with lots of space to relax from walking around in beautiful Antwerp. We loved it. Looks in reality as beautiful as on the pictures. Communication with host was amazing.

Be aware that you need to climb some rather steep stairs, as it’s an old building.

The host Linda provided really clear check-in instructions. We were able to leave our suitcases in a storeroom so we could explore the city without our luggage before we checked-in later in the afternoon. The apartment is centrally located, near the cathedral, so it's easy to access all the main sites. The apartment is very well decorated and was nice to spend time in.

It's worth being aware it was a narrow staircase leading up to the apartment with no lift. It was fine for us to get our luggage up to the apartment, but it could be an issue for some.

The property was centrally located and provided easy access to the old town area. It was within easy walking distance of Central Station. It lived up to its description.

Linda was so amazing, responsive and kind! Can’t wait to stay here again. The location cannot be beat if you want to be in the heart of Antwerp. And if you’re looking for a tattoo, Souvenir Tattoo around the corner is where it’s at.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. The location was perfect- couple of minutes walk away from the cathedral and walkable to virtually all the major sights. Great public transport links just nearby. We found it really quiet but we were there midweek. Linda was quick to respond to any queries and the website gave loads of great tips about place to eat and drink, most of which were really close to the apartment. I would absolutely stay here again!

The location was good, close to the centre yet away from the throngs. A bright, clean and modern flat, with a helpful owner who has a cafe close by.

The bedside lights could have benefited from shading and there wasn’t a teapot or salad bowl. Staircase up to the second floor was a bit steep for us oldies

It was quite a walk from the train station (virtually shopping district the whole way though), but well worth it as it is closer to the sights.....we were literally around the corner from the Cathedral and walking distance to everything else. The apartment is spacious and has everything you would need. It is a block from a supermarket and there are plenty of restaurants pretty much on the doorstep. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and the stairs up to the apartment are tricky. As is quite common with European apartments the stairs are very steep and getting anything bigger than a carry on case up is a task. This did not negatively impact our stay (you only have to get your bags up and down the stairs once during your stay), but it is definitely something people should be aware of. There is access to a washing machine and drying stand which came in very handy.

Heaps of room in a great location. Only minutes from transport, restaurants and all the attractions.

The 4 flights of steep stairs were unexpected and a real struggle for us with luggage. The unseasonably hot weather also made keeping the apartment cool difficult (fans were provided) but opening the windows did let in the city noise.
