"Superb"

Very nicely presented apartment with everything we needed, just big enough for 2. The apartments have a small private patio area and then a larger garden, overlooking a cow pasture, shared with the other apartment and owners (and the chickens). It is a beautiful view to wake up to. The owner is friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The village itself is quiet and it's possible to enjoy walks straight from the cottage. Bempton, Filey, Hunmanby and Bridlington are a short drive away.

The mattress was rather soft which was not ideal for me.

"A perfect little cottage in beautiful surroundings."

Absolutely perfect! The cottage was beautiful, everything we needed for a really relaxing stay…very comfortable big bed. Ideally situated for visits to Bempton Cliffs. Beautiful big garden and it was so lovely to see the barn owl flying over the fields at the back. Will definitely return, thank you Bob and Angela…fantastic hosts.

"Fantastic Little Cottage"

We loved everything about the place. From the location, to all the thought that went into making the cottage feel homely, it was great. The owners were lovely and very welcoming as well!

No dislikes at all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the entire place was well supplied and comfy.

The property is delightful, very well appointed and with beautiful surroundings. The host, who met me with the key, is charming. The location is perfect for me, as I'm a keen birdwatcher.

I don't think anything could have been improved.

"Relaxing weekend"

This was our 2nd stay here. It’s beautiful, clean and the owners are lovely. It was my husband’s 40th birthday and he was gifted a bottle of wine which was very kind. It’s quiet and has a lovely garden. The entire property is well kept and to a high standard. We can’t wait to come back in the future.

Our 4th visit to Buckton House Holiday Cottages, Bob and Angela are fabulous hosts, the boutique style cottages are relaxing, beds are luxurious and we always leave rested and can’t wait to re book, it was a great find and we absolutely love going back, Thankyou Bob and Angela and Thankyou for welcoming Nellie our 16 week old Retriever xxx
