There was no breakfast. No food, snacks, toast or juices of any kind, only Kerig n K-cup coffee.

Stuffy due to no air conditioning just fan iver bed and found stand ossolating fan in laundry room we used last night there. The listing info was very misleading as yes it had red door, but the actual place was steps down from front to underneath place with the red door; the back yard looked huge on listing but was extremely small. As we could not take drinks on plane back, we had bought juice, tonic water n bottled water and left some juice, water. We had eaten breakfast scones n mandalines fir our breakfasts.

Location was great! The bed was comfortable. All amenities were provided.

The apartment had an odd smell. There was no way to adjust the heat and it was very hot in the apartment, especially while sleeping.

Great host and excellent communication. Beautiful apartment with good amenities. Separate entrance to a well appointed apartment in a beautiful neighborhood in Chicago! Easy access to public transportation, a local grocery store. Would highly recommend!!

The basement appartment was fully equiped (kitchen, living room etc).

I didn’t know it was a basement appartment. If I knew before I wouldn’t have booked this accommodation. There is hardly any daylight coming in. And ‘view at the garden’ is highly overrated. Above there are 2 little windows were you can see a few plants. And of course the legs of the people passing by.

Nice location. Very convenient. The unit was clean, and well stocked. Bed was comfortable.

I didn’t realize that it is a basement unit, so it has hardly any natural light. It was fine for just a few days. The person above us was up all hours of the night. We could hear him/her walking around a lot. At least it didn’t sound like he had shoes on.

We liked the area. We went to Target for a few bits but it was only small. We didnt find any other supermarkets. It was convenient for the bus into the city (once we worked out the bus stops). The fare was $2.50 each per trip but we had to pay cash as the bus didnt accept international bank cards. We also enjoyed the fact we could walk to the beach.

Very comfortable apartment. Beautiful location. Would definitely stay here again!

There weren't enough chairs (we were three). Also, limited natural light, but it is a basement apartment.
