Willow Rest Villas

All things we liked were: it was Spacious. Modern. Had a Gas heater which was very helpful. Wife and I enjoyed the Dual shower alot. Fireplace was good. Electric blanket in second room was useful. Sufficient extra blankets were provided. DStv. Undercover parking was nice. Braai was neat and had all utensils. View from the back was nice. Host was kind and helpful and had the fireplace setup for us to use with a lot of provided wood.

Cleanliness overall wasn't great. Dishes were still dirty and we had to dishwash them before using anything. Glasses and cups dirty. Couches were also dirty and we didn't feel comfortable to use the cloth couches. Overall the unit needs a good scrubbing. Carpets need a clean as well. Pillows were not great and I didn't enjoy my sleeps. Electric blankets in main room didn't work.

Good place to visit

I will suggest that tv must be placed in de bedroom also as well as the heater because the main bedroom was not warm enough with that wall heater or aircon..

The host is super pleasant and helpful

The property manager is so friendly and professional, he was communicating with us from the moment we departed from home until we reached Clarens. He provided us with a temporal access code and waited for us at the gate around 8pm, just to show us where my family will be staying and provided us with a short tour in the house and handed us the house keys. Any challenges we had, he was quick to respond via Whatsapp and attend to us propt. He provided excellent customer service himself which was very enlightening.

We had wished atleast the house had a swimming pool or Jacuzzi and massage the body from long mountain walks or park run races ...it would have been fantastic for family...
