Apartamentos Río Cubo

The appartment felt quite cozy with good bed, a small kitchen and a bathroom with good shower. We also very much liked the common garden which is across the street and very well kept. There is even a small river behind where you may step into the cold water to cool your legs.

The rooms are a bit dark and the space is less than the pictures may indicate. The owner does not live nearby and we saw her only shortly on the second day which made it feel a bit unpersonal. The last night we got literally hundreds of flying ants into the appartment. Some insect screens would certainly be useful.

The apartment comes with access to a lovely garden, with a small child's swing and direct access to a lovely fresh, clear and shallow mountain river. There are also lots of tables and chairs - and access to a barbecue area if you want it. The location is also very good, particularly for the Fuente De cable car and for the circular hike from Mogrovejo. You can also bring a car right to the door for unloading and park it for free a short distance away.

The kitchen feels tired and could be better laid out and equipped. It is very awkward to use. However, we were perfectly able to cook our meals using it. We could also hear the upstairs neighbours very loudly through the floor.

The garden with the apple trees was very charming in the evening and in daylight as well. The host was helpful.

The sofa bed in the living room was not so comfortable.

Sweet well equipped apartment. the charming landlady helped us out dropping off some pasta after we forgot that all supermarkets are closed on a sunday.

A cutting board would be nice (maybe we just didn’t find it)

Quiet location, close to Fuente De cable car. Cozy appartment with everything you need. Nice garden across the street with access to the river (fun for kids). Superfast and very helpful communication with owner.
