Honestly, I cried tears of joy when I entered this home. At university I studied archaeology and anthropology so any home of significant historical value moves me tremendously. This place is it. The home is grand in proportion. It has been lovingly restored and keeping with its original characteristics. It is better in person than in the photos. You couldn’t ask for a more ideal location. I scored a free parking space not too far away. And you can actually drive your car straight to the property to unload your bags. The host Simone is absolutely lovely and made me feel very welcome. All communications with her were wonderful.

The only thing I would recommend is pure cotton bed linens. My linens appeared to be polyester or of a polyester blend. As a woman in her mid 50s, I am really sensitive to fabrics. So perhaps bring your own top and bottom sheet if you are fussy about linen. Admittedly, I can appreciate it increases overheads for operators to provide high-quality bedsheets. This is just a suggestion.
