It was very quaint old fashioned and spacious

Very cozy and sparking clean. Due to a railway strike I could not reach the property on the day of my booking (prepaid and nonrefundable). The host was very kind to move my reservation to the next day without any additional charges. I would love to stay again. Also, excellent location.

The host was very responsive and helpful! She was waiting for me outside promptly and my requested time and showed me everything. She also very kindly accommodated my luggage for me for a few extra hours, which I really appreciated :) Apartment was really lovely: beautiful furniture and pictures and comfortable to stay in, with a nice balcony. Pictures very accurate and everything matched expectations :) Although it's not right in the centre, the apartment is very conveniently situated - about 20 minutes walk to the train station and in only 10 minutes or less you are in the historic centre. (Although be aware that many of the streets are cobbled or have rough paving stones, so taking a bus or taxi might be a good idea with luggage!)

Unfortunately I did have a small issue with the upstairs neighbour, who was playing the TV extremely loudly with open windows, well after the regulated hours of silence in Italy. Eventually I did go up and request that the neighbour turned it down and she complied (after a bit of yelling at me, which wasn't so comfortable). So, although that wasn't the host's fault, my first night was rather disrupted.
