The furniture is nice

The apartment requires maintenance. We could only use 1 air condition in the flat as the others smelled heavily. On short notice the larger bathroom was out of service, apart from the shower. The other bathroom was too small for a family of 4. There is no washing machine which made the beach returns cumbersome, washing by hand every day. Finally, there is a daily garbage disposal schedule to follow as one needs to drop the garbage on the street (there are no collection garbage bins with this apartment block).

Location and the apartment itself is ok.

As I mentioned in my previous review, I have no complaints about the apartment or the location. My negative review is directed towards the owner and her extremely rude and unprofessional behavior. On the last day, we had an issue with the toilet, which got clogged because the owner has a very sensitive electric system to flush the toilet. As stated on the sign she posted herself, the toilet can clog easily. The host’s initial friendliness quickly turned into an attack towards us for supposedly clogging the toilet and not notifying her (which, I repeat, happened on the day we were leaving). We were understanding up until that point, but then she began accusing us and withheld €150 from our card because "the sign says so," even though her website policy states €100. The lady automatically blamed us for the malfunction of the toilet (and I repeat, we never threw anything in there intentionally and left the apartment in perfect condition). Of course, we filed a claim with Booking, and she refunded the extra €50 charged. When I kept insisting about the remaining amount and asked her to provide any proof of our supposed bad faith or "guilt," she used very hostile, unprofessional, and accusatory language before completely stopping all communication. I have spent hours calling Booking to mediate, and the case is still under review. My advice, if you're going to book here, READ THE POLICY CAREFULLY (as it also requires you to take out the trash on the last day, despite charging a €60 cleaning fee) and avoid using the toilet because if it clogs, they will likely charge you another €150. Never, in any hotel, apartment, house, or campsite I’ve stayed at, have I been charged for a clogged toilet. In summary, I understand that it can be frustrating for a host to deal with problems arising from their business, but after having paid almost €1300 for a few days and leaving the apartment spotless, there is no justification for such a disrespectful treatment.

The apartment was so beautiful. You will find absolutely everything there for everythings need. It is perfectly located. With a wonderful 30-minutes walk next to the sea and harbour you reach the downtown of Alghero. Within 5 minutes you reach the wonderful beach Maria Pia.

the location was excellent, the sharing of information was as expected.

The apartment was lovely, bed really comfortable. Host very responsive.

It is a bit run down in the immediate vicinity and there is a lot of renovation and building work such as drilling and banging throughout the day.

Apartment was very well equipped and lovely decor. Had l several balconies and outdoor furniture. Very modern, bright feel. Raffaella was very helpful with check in. Location was one row back from beach. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Easy parking. Very short journey to town from the airport.( only about 10/15 mins by car)

As informed before check in, one of the toilets wasn’t working but we managed fine. The shower in the main bathroom is a bit of a squeeze. No other issues at all.

Fabulous apartment close to the beach with great outdoor terraces and facilities. Not too far from town really if you like a walk but there are buses and taxis if you don't. We needed some help with a few things and got great support from Rafaella. There are plenty of bars and good restaurants nearby and the local supermarket is brilliant.
