"Beautiful Victorian home in heart of Chester. Perfect spot for a weekend break."

9.0

Location was perfect - walking distance to everything. Very homely and stylishly decorated with nice touches and character features.

Would have been nice to have a shower but not really an issue.

"Spent more time indoors due to horrendous weather! Loved Chester! Would stay at Bath St, again if small alterations were"

Very quirky, old building, close to town centre

Two single beds pushed together,in main bedroom!! Very uncomfortable!! We actually slept in different rooms, toilet very cramped, no shower!! Lot of noise from next door at various times!!

"We enjoyed our first visit to Chester. Would definitely recommend staying at No 3 Bath St ."

8.0

This is a wonderful property, full of character, located a very short walk from Chester town centre. Our hosts were very helpful both prior to and during our stay. We arrived to a bottle of prosecco and some hot cross buns which were very much appreciated. The property is comfortable and well equipped. Ideal for a short stay,

Tip - There isn't any designated parking due to location, but there is a 24 hr car park in close proximity which is costly. Having said that, after the first night in the carpark, we realised that there is free 30 minute restricted parking in Bath St between 8am and 6pm Monday - Saturday. We were lucky enough to be able to park overnight for the remainder of our stay, minimising the parking costs. There is also a Waitrose close by with 2 hrs free parking, so depending on what time you arrive, try Bath St first!

The location of the property was excellent and the property had lots of character. The living space downstairs was excellent, as was the size of the main bedroom. The beds were also very comfortable and it was nice to have a few welcome gifts on arrival. Coffee facilities were good.

The bathroom was far too small and not particularly clean. Also, in the property description on line the information suggested there was parking with the property. On re reading, it appears it was not private parking, which was a little misleading. We arrived in the dark and it was very dark in the alleyway, especially negotiating wheelie bins and rubbish left by neighbours. Lighting would have been helpful here.

"Excellent stay. Would book again."

Location was excellent. Heart of the City. But not noisy. Close to everything

Nothing really as this is a character property and built within the City.

"This was a good stay but the bed was uncomfortable, small and costly compared to others close"

7.0

I liked that the place was in a historic building with a good location

Even though the main bedroom was large, the bed was uncomfortably small. It was also of poor quality.
