Jamaica Holiday Units

The location was fabulous with breakfast across the RD at the Marina. The unit we had was large and I loved the private deck. Everything one needs is there for a longer stay.

The bedroom of the unit above needs carpet as every step and anything that was dropped was very loud. The unit above sat up talking till they woke me up and I shut the window which I guess they heard. That was 3.30am, I was worried I wouldn’t get back to sleep but eventually did. I understand that’s probably random but still, it’s an older built place so I imagine being surrounded by other units in the busy season, one would need to be tolerant.

How close it was to everything

Well, our unit was absolutely below standard Broken power points, that couldn't be used Broken fan that wouldn't work Faulty equipment and appliances It tripped out the metre for our unit, so no power at all. Had to ring owners of unit, well they didn't come out, all what they told us to do go to the metre box Thats not the guest responsibility at all. Unit owners turned around said we are aware of these issues 😑 But happy to rent it out but below standard not even functional! Beds weren't the best , we're the worst hard as a board We were buttom unit, top floor you could hear absolutely everything, people partying until all hours after midnight. Had no concentration for others. Baby crying 😢 Music playing People walking in unit. It wasn't a peaceful stay.

You are paying good money for a unit , you want it functional and working

Location was great, we had Unit 1 and it was perfect, view of the lake, nice little verandah out front and the wood bar on the top rail out the front was a nice touch for beaky in the morning!

Was pretty noisy from the unit upstairs, could hear them very loudly, walking around early mornings but this can’t be helped, just personally am a light sleeper so I wasn’t keen with that. Couldn’t access the laundry, key went in the door but wouldn’t unlock it

Clean, tidy had everything we needed

4 other units occupant’s were very noisy and took over the whole outdoor sitting area so we couldn’t sit outside. As it was very hot with no air conditioning we had our windows open but they were all smoking in the sitting area which drifted into our villa. They also broke 2 outdoor sitting chairs and took up more car spaces then was designated.
