Top Floor With Balcony in Funchal

It's a cute apartment. You get amazing views overlooking the marina and the ocean aswell as the mountains. Its walking distance to the city, but coming back will take a bit longer as its uphill. The bus stop is just outside the apartment. The same bus will take you to Monte, which is worth a visit. There is a coffee shop next to the apartment. They have amazing pastries and the prices are very cheap. Overall the apartment met our needs. They have all the amenities you could need to get buy, if not there is a supermarket next to the coffee shop. The supermarket also has fantastic fruit.

We had a few ants in the kitchen area, but there was bug spray that we used. And we were not in the apartment that much for it to be a big issue.

Great view! The apartment had everything necessary that you may need in the kitchen and bathroom. Not far from the city center. Nearby there is a store, a coffee shop, and a transport stop. The owner quickly responds to messages and questions.

There were ants in the kitchen, but it didn't spoil our stay

Location was quite good, next to the apartment there is a "pasteleria" and a grocery shop. The view from the apartment was lovely. Terrace and living room spacious, with a great view. Washing machine was really helpful for us. Kitchen was well equipped, even spices and olive oil we could find there.

We wish we could find some cleaning products for kitchen and bathroom, we ran out quickly of dishwasher and there was no handsoap at all in the bathroom. In the kitchen we could see quite a lot of ants.. Mosquitos were a nightmare.

Very good location close to the bus stop (bus no. 20 and 21 with the route from the Funchal center to the Monte), close to the supermarket and bakery shop. Great view from a large terrace, very nice apartment, well equipped. There is also washing machine available. Friendly host.

The only thing was an unpleasant smell from the sewage system coming from the bathroom (located near the kitchen).

Advertised appliances not working. TV pixilated most of stay. Daily electric supply interuptions. Internet stoppages following electricity interruptions. Sewer smells came up from shower tray. Tiny shower and toilet off tiny kitchen . Had to almost beg for sheets for second bed. No extra bedding. No bedding changes although we we told to expect them Saturday between 4 and six o clock.
