Funchal Marina Bay

The owner is very nice, kind and quickly responsive with information. Best location ever in the center of the town and walking range to a lot of restaurants. Room is convenient for two people wiith elevators and kitchenwares and beautiful view of the marina bay from the balcony. Big supermarket Pingo doce is just only 5-min walk. Parking lot is provided with easy access. We are really happy here. Thank you!

AIr conditioner is working but not quite functional, not a big problem as Funchal has a nice and cool weather in September.

- good parking spot in underground parking - the terrace is huge and the view is pleasant - well connected to pretty much anything (supermarket, restaurants, city center) - the bed is comfortable - the kitchen is well equipped

- the AC did not work, it does not produce cold air, it just works as a fan, which is useless. We had to keep the doors open and the area can be noisy because of the nearby port and bars (especially on Saturday night). It can get quite hot during the day. Fortunately, we were mostly exploring during the day. - the shower was in quite bad condition, it urgently needs a head replacement - the lighting is quite dim - there was an unventilated area smell when we arrived - the microwave oven randomly starts by its own for a short time

Great location. This is one of the best places to stay in Madeira.

Lovely apartment, huge balcony with views over sea, park, city and mountains, the side and rear of the building. Good cooking facilities with little things to get you started like oil, salt, pepper etc. Shower gel and lots of loo rolls provided along with detergent for the dishes and washing machine. Great location, easy walk into Funchal, bakery across the road and a fabulous supermarket a few minutes away. The only downside is the road is noisy, only to be expected in the city and by a roundabout I guess.

Noisy road, especially the cars with loud exhausts accelerating up the hill, but you get idiots everywhere!

Excellent location, perfect for all activities we intended to have in Funchal. The friendly and welcoming landlady who handed us the keys was easy to reach, we had good communication and she provided useful advice.

location- ideal for exploring Funchal. The big balcony which had a table chairs sun loungers and clothes dryer. It had sun in early morning then sun all afternoon. Views over the marina were great as also was the view over the gardens opposite. The apartment was large, had good amenities and everything was provided. Security was good.

The shower head needs changing- heat and power we’re fine but the head was dated so did not give the experience which would fit with the rest of the amenities.

Great location, great hostess who went out of her way to meet us upon arrival. Superb view.
