Monumental Plaza by Petit Hotels

Convenient location, lots of amenities around and just a short bus/taxi ride away from the main city centre. Apartment was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. A very good option for anywone who prefers to have a kitchenette and sofa rather than simply a bed in a hotel room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only one access card was given to us, which is not an issue when travelling together but on some days we had different commitments and it would have been more convenient for both of us to have a card to access the building/apartment. The bathroom sink drain was not draining quickly, while a foul smell came from the kitchen sink. Looks like the drains need to be cleaned and unblocked. Parking was extremely tight - we preferred to use paid parking in the street when available (it usually was), but it was good to have the option on those occasions we could not find parking on the street.

Super schönes, sauberes Zimmer mit Meerblick und gemütlichem Balkon. Nettes Personal! Da das unsere Hochzeitsreise war, wurde unser Zimmer extra mit Rosenblätter dekoriert.❤️ Tiefgarage vorhanden & tolle Lage in der Nähe vom Meer und überall sind gute Restaurants in der Nähe 😊

Die Tiefgarage ist sehr eng aber mit der richtigen Technik, die einem sogar extra erklärt wird, kommt man schon rein😊

Dalia was so helpful. The cleaning staff friendly and efficient. The location is perfect. The apartment had everything we needed. Kitchen well supplied with gear (would be nice if essentials like salt, pepper, olive oil were also supplied). Had 2 balconies so could sit in sun or shade Front balcony noisy but great for people watching. Side balcony peaceful.

The couch is really uncomfortable. Gave us sore backs.

La ubicación excelente, quizás aunque nunca fue la primera opción el quedarnos en Funchal el sitio lo compensa, muy buen sitio para moverte al resto de sitio turísticos (1h en coche max) y facilidad de aparcar en el callejón que está justo enfrente y a 15 min a pie de la zona vieja, ideal para dar un paseo o disfrutar de los buenos restaurantes de la zona. Apartamento limpio y cuidado, quizás cuidado hasta de más ya que nos chocó un poco el depósito de la fianza por los objetos ya que no solemos llevar efectivo (culpa nuestra) pero menos mal que debajo teníamos un cajero del Santander. Un consejo que me habría gustado que nos den es que no compremos en los supermercados de la zona cerca al apartamento, son unos Spar en los cuales los precio son desorbitados y muy cerca hay centros comerciales donde lo precios son más bajos para poder desayunar o cocinar en el apartamento. Se agradece la botella de agua de bienvenida.

No saber con claridad el tema del pago de la fianza en efectivo y creo que aparte de poner sal como detalle para cocinar también estaría bien dejar algún sobre de azúcar o té para una infusión de bienvenida después de un largo viaje hasta llegar a la isla, vamos como el mismo detalle de una botella de agua que es de agradecer

Sie waren sehr genau mit ihrem Geschirr man hat von allen nur 2 Sachen was bei Gläsern grade nicht viel ist.
