"Very good"

Fantastic view day and night over Funchal. Spacious apartment for 2 people. Near bus stop so no need to hire car.

In need of a bathroom and kitchen update and rusty metal chairs on balcony need urgent replacement. However we just used the dining chairs instead so did not detract from our enjoyment.

"Superb"

Great view from the balcony and main bedroom, spatious accommodation and generally quiet. A few furniture/utility items could be renewed, but all in all a great place. The accommodation is set up a very steep hill and although it is quite close to a bus station, it only goes to Funchal, so renting a car is a must for long stays. The unit has dedicated parking.

It was a little cold and the apartment smelled a little bit moldy
