Sitting on the apartment balcony watching the ocean, having breakfast as the sun rose, and a local gin and tonic as the sun set. It was very quiet and calm to enjoy looking at the boats, and the people swimming in the ocean. It was also very easy and convenient to walk to the local Lido (swimming pool and ocean access with lounges and umbrellas - after 6pm it is half price. There is a convenient supermarket near by and lots of restaurants for ease and it is convenient to walk into the old town - there are also lots of buses that go near by - the green line, that Google Maps has the stops and times.

Good location, with lovely sea view. Very comfortable apartment.

Some things in the apartment need attention. Shower leaked, screen could have been cleaner, flooring outside bathroom needing fixed (potential trip hazard). Pool tiles needing repaired, so pool doesn't look its best.

Fantastic apartment in the Sao Martineo area of Funchal. Close to all the great restaurants and bars. The apartment was very clean and felt like you had your own private pool. All the cooking essentials were there but we ate out in the evenings. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Great spacious apartment with amazing views and perfectly located, close to Funchal city centre and has lots of great nearby restaurants and bars. Couldn’t at all fault it and wouldn’t hesitate rebooking if we return to Madeira. Fernando was amazing, really helpful and even organised for us to rent a car which we really appreciated.

There was an issue with the cleaning after the previous guests but it was quickly resolved by Fernando.

Firstly the view is amazing and sitting on the balcony was a highlight of the trip! The location was very good, walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants. The walk to Funchal centre was only 20 mins and around 40 to the old town and cable cars. The check-in staff Laura was helpful and the transfer service is highly recommended.

The apartment seemed like it needed updating furniture wise in general. The wardrobe smelt musty. The pillows for the beds were very uncomfortable and ended up using a cushion off the sofa. The sofa was also very uncomfy to sit on!
