Atlantic Studios #03

Jessica was super kind, communicative, and helpful during my stay, and was there to greet me upon arrival. A little welcome chocolate greeted me as well :) Big comfortable bed, plenty of closet/storage space, well equipped kitchen, couch, TV, and dining table. The washing machine came in handy after my hikes as well! Note that cars cannot go down this road - you will need to meet transfers or tours elsewhere (but the meeting places were all within 2 min walking for me).

Careful not to take a long shower as hot water is limited ;) One night it got pretty noisy outside with loud obnoxious beats going until 2am, but thankfully it only happened once (sadly it happened before my sunrise hike when I really needed the sleep 🥲)

Internet very poor and TV don't work properly is always doing buffering. Parking is horrendous

Jessica is an amazing host: reliable, helpful and friendly. She left a welcome gift with food for us and she let us check out later in the morning. The apartment is in the heart of Funchal and has many facilities among which a kettle and a washing and dryer machine.

The host was extremely nice and helpful. The location was good insofar as it was close to buses, shops, etc. The flat was well equipped, and worked very well for us.

The location on the restaurant street was ok during the week, as they all closed down at 11pm, but Fridays and Saturdays were noisy until 4-5 am. If you can sleep with ear plugs you'll be alright. We Nordic people also prefer to have a duvet each, instead of huge sheets and blankets that end up in a tangle. 😄

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this apartment! From the moment we arrived, the host went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was not only incredibly friendly but also super helpful, providing us with fantastic recommendations on places to visit and things to do in the area. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find the property in pristine condition. It was spotlessly clean and welcoming, with a thoughtful touch of some delicious chocolates and a taste of bolo do miel waiting for us. This truly added a special, personal touch to our stay. The location of the apartment couldn't have been better. It was conveniently situated close to a variety of restaurants, exciting tours, and even the gondola. Being right in the heart of Funchal made exploring the city a breeze, and we felt like we were truly in the center of all the fun. Overall, our experience was exceptional, thanks in large part to our wonderful host and the fantastic apartment. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our trip. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay in Funchal. We can't wait to return!

Super easyand helpful communication with the host! Jessica gave us a lot of information with regards to local restaurants and car rentals. It made our vacation a lot more easy. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed (and more). Kitchen had all the essentials. We will definitely come back :))
