Sol do Lido

It was close to tons of restaurants and the grocery store. The bus was only a short 10min ride to the old town. The host was very nice and answered all our questions very quickly. The washing machine was also a dryer. The pool was a nice addition. The tv has Netflix and Prime if you want to relax after a hike.

The beds aren’t super comfortable.

The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and the location is perfect, next to a lot of restaurants, a bus stop and the sea. The price is very good for the quality of the apartment and the location

L’appartement était spacieux et bien aménagé. Sa situation idéale nous a permis de faire beaucoup de choses à pied : visiter Funchal, faire nos courses ou encore profiter d’un tour touristique. Il faut toutefois aimer marcher, car le centre de Funchal se trouve à environ 30 minutes à pied. La piscine sur le toit permettait de se rafraîchir, et une autre piscine, située à proximité, était payante mais très bien, avec des toboggans pour enfants, un grand bassin et même la possibilité de plonger directement dans la mer. L’hôte était très accueillante, gentille et disponible. Elle nous a gentiment apporté un mixeur car il n’y en avait pas dans l’appartement, et s’est souciée de notre bien-être tout au long du séjour.

Nous avons eu chaud dans les chambres mais grâce à Deborah qui nous a donné des ventilateurs nos nuits étaient plus fraîches

Location of property. We arrived late but it was easy per Deborah's instructions to gain access. Deborah was always available if we needed anything Apt was spotless. Situated close to resteraunts, shops, supermarkets and to ocean.
