Lovely apartment at the best location in Funchal

Our stay and the apartment was wonderful from beginning to end. The communication with the host was so easy, very helpful and always speedy. Instructions for key collection were received in good time, they were really clear, easy to follow and photographs were also provided. The location was convenient for Funchal - we had an easy walk into the old town which was downhill and caught a cab back (a few Euros). The apartment was very clean, well-decorated and very spacious with lots of seating. A full ensuite bathroom, a full shower room plus an a 3rd toilet was plenty for our group of six female friends, all enjoying our active later‑life adventures on a short getaway to Madeira. We ate out everyday as there are so many lovely restaurants in Funchal and we would highly recommend Casal de Penha which is a short stroll from the apartment. If we had wanted to eat-in, the kitchen was fully equipped with good range appliances, crockery and utensils - everything we could have needed. We had the best time and highly recommend the apartment - we would love to come back again.

Not much! We loved it. There was some traffic noise but it's a city location.

Tiene todas las comodidades para una familia grande, está pensando cada detalle para una estadía placentera. Mis hijos fueron felices por su gran espacio lamentamos el poco tiempo para un próximo viaje a la isla lo tendré presente. La ubicación excelente muy tranquilo y cerca de la Av con muchos restaurantes. La atención de los encargados muy amables atentos y comprensibles.

Great location, perfectly presented and the host was excellent. With four bedrooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms it was great value for money.

We had a great stay and would stay again. The host kindly organised our taxi transfer from the airport and the driver let us into the property and gave us the keys. All very smooth. The flat is large, with plenty of space for our family of 5 plus Granny. There are two bathrooms, one with walk in shower and the other with a bath and overhead shower. There is also a third, separate toilet. The rooms are airy and well presented and the balconies are mainly south facing so plenty of relaxing in the sunshine. Everything is in walking distance and there are local shops, including a small Spa, and restaurants including a good bakery. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.
