Large Kitchen and Sea View

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST unless the management decides to clean the place thoroughly and replace the dated furniture. The apartment has so much potential but the owner is cheapskate. I would have given 0.5 star just for the the view but that’s not an option. The apartment is extremely dated, not cleaned properly, the furniture looked as if it has been lying in dusty garage forever. The bathroom is disgusting(I cannot absolutely do with dirty bathrooms) with black spots and weird brown stains everywhere🤢. The mattress on the bed is horrible and cheap😭. The house is full of blonde hair probably from the cleaner/ or past residents I found hairs on the bed on the carpet even in the kitchen 🤢. The carpet is tattered, the cover on the sofa is even more tattered and with weird stains. The owner has not upgraded since 20 years probably and at 500 euros a night we expected a lot better. The point of contact was extremely late in giving keys and we had to wait on the road for 1 hour in the soaking rain. I booked this apartment for 3 days and wanted to get out on day 1. There are plenty of nicer places nearby do not make the same mistake I made. Don’t go on the other reviews, the negative reviews are true. The apartment made me feel unclean all the time and after using the bathroom I probably have to go for thorough shower for weeks to feel clean again.

Nice view over the Harbour and sea. The apartment comes with its own parking spot in the garage. Even though the location is not really in the city center, there are plenty of restaurants near by.

The apartment could use some updating. The shower rail was very loose. It comes down down to that from 2 meter distance everything looks fine. But if you come closer you can clearly see some things need some attention of replacing.

Fin udsigt over havn og hav. Rigelig trafikstøj ( som beskrevet). Ren og fin lejlighed med 2 små balkoner.

"Excellent stay — perfect location and amazing food nearby!" The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located with a lovely view. Great base for exploring the island or relaxing at the beach during the day. In the evenings, there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Some of the best food I had in Funchal (and we tried a lot!) was just around the corner. For this level of comfort and location, the price is more than fair. Would definitely stay here again!
