Villa Funtana

Große Wohnung für 4 Personen , haben uns super wohl gefühlt . Große Terrasse zum wunderbar sitzen , selbst wenn es mal geregnet hat ( 3 mal ) gute Lage , fussläufig Strand in 8 min , ebenso ein großer Plodine, Restaurant gut zu erreichen , Auto muss nicht wirklich bewegt werden . Vermieter super nett , wir kommen wieder !

This beautiful rustic villa is a real gem! Surrounded by fantastic nature, palm trees, kiwies, other kinds of trees and flowers, feels like you are somewhere in the middle of a botanical park, birds and cricket sounds slowly filling the atmosphere - makes you feel the summer and those vibes at it's best. You can find shadows on the terace and between the trees during hot days, chill on the terace, enjoy in the real Istrian nights.. the host Marcel made it more than perfect, he is there when and whatever you need him for, kind, helpfull, knows the surroundings well, great advisor and solver of every demand we had. Pleasant room, sweet kitchen where you can really enjoy cooking. All very clean, and that smell of freshly washed linen.. OMG! Absolutely will come back, and not only during summertime. There are many things to like about this property. Street is very quiet, beds and bedding is new and there are shutters on the windows - all of this makes for a great sleep quality. Owner is helpful and speaks fluent English (not that usual in Croatia). Apartment feels more like a small flat, it has large terrace, beautiful yard and free bikes you can borrow. It is close proximity to everything - beach, town center with restaurants, large supermarket. This was our first time visiting Funtana and it is a charming little town, worth checking out. Price of accommodation was also great.

It does need updating and a more attention to cleaning. Probably not massive refurbishment, but some bits here and there. I've been to far worse places in Croatia. There is nothing at this apartment that would ruin the stay, don't pay too much attention to bad reviews. And I'm sure if there is any issue, you can always talk to owner to fix it.

We came as a family: 4 adults, a child, a cat and a dog. Initially, we read the reviews and did not expect luxury. But our impressions exceeded expectations. We were met by an intelligent owner, he explained in detail all the nuances of the area and beaches, treated us to local wine / beer to choose from. Excellent room on the 1st floor with its own terrace. At your disposal is a whole green yard with kiwi trees and convenient parking. The room was spacious, 3 rooms, clean linen, towels and a full set of dishes, including small things, such as a vegetable grater or a hammer for beating meat. We also had a coffee maker and a microwave and an iron. The apartment is in an authentic style, beautiful marble floors, an unusual kitchen, nice and cool at night (we did not use the air conditioner even in 35 degrees of heat). My cat and dog were happy to walk in nature. The owner did not charge for small quiet pets and this is very nice. Everything was very clean and fresh. The supermarket and beaches are within walking distance. The sweetest place with all the amenities. The price is completely consistent with the quality (in comparison with other options in this area). We enjoyed the ambience and authenticity of this house. I sincerely recommend it to intelligent people who can see beauty in simplicity and not find fault with little things that do not affect comfort. I want to come back here again for sure and this is the main thing!!!

The host was really nice and location is very good. Beach, restaurants, grocery store in walking distance.

The place could need some updating. The living space was quite dark.

Villa Funtana propery was value for money but it was not clean, the pillows were not freshly washed and the walls were dirty. It was also a weird smell in the apartment. To be honest I would never go there again.
