Corner of Paradise near Cinque Terre

We had a great time in Framura. The flat is comfortable, the views just fantastic, a beautiful little garden to relax. Even in high season beaches were not too crowed (you can choose between three free beaches!). Christina was extremely helpful in providing helpful information, handy over the keys and very quick to answer if we had any questions, thank you so much!

There are a lot of steps in Framura, but this makes the place very special. If you have issues with your knees or similar, this could be difficult, otherwise: you will get a little fitter during the stay in Framura :-)

Absolutely stunning views, very spacious living area and the lady who came to meet us with the keys was truly lovely and helpful. Kitchen is packed with everything you could need to cater for yourself. WiFi was great and the outside area was gorgeous ! Two bathrooms made life easier for our family.

Have to be honest here as I don't feel the description matched the reality at all. Although without a doubt the views are breathtaking! There isn't a single chance you can park right near this property, we hired a car off the back of the description that there was parking, it took us a good 15 minutes to walk from the street to the house. Had we been told this we wouldn't have spent a fair whack on food and drink that we seriously then struggled to get up to this house. The description of the steps to the house really needs to be re written, we were absolutely wiped out trying to get up and down these steps, it put us off wanting to go out for a wonder round because in the heat its nothing short of exhausting. I'm sure in less intense heat its a 'tad' easier, but this could be seriously difficult for anyone with health issues, so I do think the extreme steep steps & the length of time to get up to this property needs to be more explained in the description. As it really took away the feeling of a 'relaxing' holiday home by the sea and is the main reason we won't be returning. There is only air conditioning in the front room, the bedrooms were awful in this heat, we all unfortunately got no sleep due to the rooms not even having fans, let alone the air conditioning thats stated. Considering how well the kitchen is kitted out I think it would be great to provide more comfort during the hot weather in the bedrooms.

Those steps were a challenge at the end of long day! It's very cluttered - or full of tasteful kitch - depending on your viewpoint!

American family of 4, staying 2 nights, end of March. We drove in and parked easily. The lovely property manager met us (early) and accompanied us to the retreat. Expect a few sets of stairs going down the hill from parking, a short walk and some 60 STEEP steps to the apartment height. It's spacious, clean and comfortable. RUSTIC but ALL GOOD, as it makes it part of the magic of the breathtaking sea view, especially on a sunny day. Good WiFi, hot shower, ample cooking utility and a bit of an artist's museum! LOVED having 2 separate bathrooms. The washing machine is SO handy on a 10 day trip! The host left wonderful pear juice, cookies and milk for us, plus some basics in the kitchen. You MUST be mobile for lots of steps - everywhere! Enjoy the beach and cliff walkway. Local trains to Cinque Terre. Buy a local train ticket to Levanto (< €3), then buy the Cinque Terre Treno card online (€49/family), which has unlimited train hops from Levanto to La Spezia. No need to validate! In Framura, walk UP the steps from the parking spots to find a great (and affordable) pizzeria. Cinque - We loved Manarola and Riomaggiore the most! Hope this helps!

Really - nothing. Please don't expect a 5 star resort here - the fixtures and fittings have seen better days but it's quirky and rustic but a piece of heaven too - just focus on what it is!!

We loved the views and the location. Everything was available in the kitchen for when we didn't eat out. You could feel that the owner put some love into the place and our hostess Federica, who met us and showed us around, was delightful. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and the convenience of catching the trains to the other towns at the bottom of the hill.

The steps to the house and the parking were a little bit hard at first for us old folks, but we came home more fit!

The house was very cosy with the colourful interior and lots of details, a wel equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and two terraces to enjoy dinner, breakfast or coffee with a fabulous view, In the village there are quite a lot of stairs, which going up will bring you to the nice bakery, small supermarket or pizzeria and going down to the small beaches and the railway station. Very nice place to stay for a couple of days when hiking the Sentierro VerdeAzuro, or just to visit the five communities that together make up Framura. Although self-catering tea, coffee, crackers and biscuits were in the house upon arrival which we tried to replenish upon departure.

The only minus is that the bedroom is a bit dark without a real outside window, which for us wasn't a real problem. And for people with difficulty walking the stairs might be a problem (the stairs to the house itself is also quite steep).

Federica is a fantastic host taking care of her guests in a way that's quite rare.She left lots of food for breakfast, dinner, the kids even if it was not requested and she did her best to make our staying perfect providing tips and information.

The only thing to improve is tthe communication about the accessibility of the location without a car in the description of the location. This is a way to prevent from possibile complaints and to make it clear for everyone.
