"Erholsam und wunderschön"

Wunderschöner Meerblick, sehr ruhig und sicher – auch als alleinreisende Frau habe ich mich wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung war modern eingerichtet, sauber und die Küche bestens ausgestattet. Gastgeber Nikos war jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Früheres Einchecken war möglich, vielen Dank! Ich komme gerne wieder.

"Totally misdescribed by the owner. The weather and the beach were fine, but the stay was spoilt."

Breakfast N/A. The view and the beach

The property was not prepared for our arrival. We had no hot water for 2 days, until fixed by throwing a switch in the fuse box. We had no water on the third day, until fixed outside by the use of a tool! It was three days before I could have a shower. The distance and steep hill to the beach (and return uphill of course) was completely misdescribed as being 90 metres away. It was more like 900 metres away. We are 81 and 78 years of age and struggled every day to negotiate the walk to the beach and shop and restaurant. Other tourists we met agreed. We also thought that the property was very expensive for what we received and that it was near the end of the season. In fact, whilst we were there some shops and restaurants closed.

"Fantastic stay at gorgeous Glyfada beach"

Oh the view from the balcony is amazing! Very good apartment in a fantastic location. Good size well-equipped kitchen, excellent big balcony, big clothes airer, good size bedroom. They even provide an excellent sun umbrella. The apartment is on the last row of lots of cute houses/flats, but there are many shortcuts down to the beach so it doesn’t feel to hard the walk to/from the place. The beach is fabulous, crystal clear waters and it offers both free beach and sun beds rentals. Nikos was very helpful and ready to provide anything one might need.

Smallish things: the apartment was a bit stuffy when we arrived, maybe it hadn’t been aired for a while. Also the mattress was not very comfy but that’s my personal preference. A washing machine would have been appreciated. I wish we had known that there was only 1 mini market shop, absurdly overpriced. Better to arrive with all your shopping done beforehand.
