Apartamento do Corpo Santo

Even though we arrived late at night, the check-in was smooth!

The property is located in the center of the old town, easy to walk everywhere. It had private parking as well. On top of the building there is a lovely terrace that you can enjoy to watch the sunset.

In the building next to the property there were doing some works and builders were hammering since 8am every morning. It was not very pleasant. Also, I think there were bed bugs inside our bed, as very morning I was waking up with more and more bites all over my body and they were not mosquitoes bites.

The welcome gifts of a bottle of wine and a local cake plus fresh fruit. The host is very kind and even allowed us to have a late check out as other guests were not due to arrive until the following day. Guests can use the roof terrace where there is a table and chairs, the view is excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Apartamento do Corpo Santo in Funchal. The location was perfect, right in the old center with restaurants, bars, and everything we needed just steps away. The apartment was clean, had a well-equipped kitchen, and even included a washing machine with detergent, which was super convenient. Free parking and the terrace on the building were great bonuses, and it made for an ideal starting point to explore the island.

The only minor downsides were some ants in the kitchen and a mix-up with the city tax, but overall, it was a great experience, and we’d stay again!

We enjoyed the superb location; I couldn't have asked for anything better. The apartments boast spacious interiors, two bedrooms. Mirela, the host, is incredibly hospitable.

The apartments are situated on the ground floor, with car parking spaces for local residents just in front of the windows. However, it was not noisy.

We got the whole apartment to ourselves. It has everything you need. A welcome gift was waiting for us on the table (some fruits, wine and local delights) - thank you again! The property is in center of the city and has a parking space.

Nothing to complain at all.

Very friendly host, offered wine and some local delicacies during our stay and we certainly enjoyed staying there.
