The Morrison Stables

Very quiet and close to many food outlets, tourist attractions and sporting facilities. City centre within walking distance. Spacious unit. Off-street, secure and undercover parking excellent.

Wonderful location for seeing Geelong. Walkable to many attractions if you desired. A good space so you didn’t feel crammed in.

The only thing was the train horns during the night.. I imagine you get used to them living there .. as a guest, if you sleep lightly it may be bothersome. You are close to the train line.. great when needed. We were fortunate that the family were away the whole duration of our stay, but be aware that the main windows look out into the shared garage space.. so it may not always be private.

The location and the all the lovely little surprises for us. The hosts were extremely helpful.

Maybe some overhead fans in the bedrooms.

The ease of access into the room. All of the helpful tips and updates from the host. The close distance to the venue of my event. The ability to check in at any time. The guest book!

Some of the signage could have been a bit bigger/clearer (the signs about which doors are inaccessible).

Location was perfect. I was in Geelong for a conference and it was an easy walk. There were dinner and breakfast choices nearby. We had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Easy parking was a bonus.

Morrison Stables was well-located for our stay, close to everything. Walking distance to Kardinia Park. Many eateries and cultural venues within walking distance or a short drive. The Stables are charmingly restored, very comfortable and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. Ash was helpful from booking through to checkout, and the house guidebook has lots of helpful information. Finally, the place was spotlessly clean.
