1 bed Apt in West End

The location was handy for me as my daughter was staying with a friend round the corner. The flat was spacious and had everything that I might need (ironing board, hairdryer, kitchen, coffee and tea) and it was clean. As I had booked only that morning, I only managed to ask for my lockbox code on arriving, and as I waited, the people in the building were very friendly.

Although nicely decorated and spacious, for Air B&Bs you don’t use the best stuff so the pillows were a bit lumpy and the bathroom lighting was superbright. But as I said, well thought out and everything that I needed was to hand.

Bad communication! The code for the key box didn’t work. We had to call, and found out it was changed the day before, and they didn’t bother to let us know before we showed up. Didn’t realize you had to climb 6 flights of stairs to get to the apt. Had we known we wouldn’t have chosen this place.

Cigarette smoke continuously seeped into the property from the apartment below, so severely that one of our party got an asthma attack. The owners knew about this, but did not disclose the problem beforehand. We found the unit otherwise perfectly good, but uninhabitable due to the smoke seeping throuhg the floor. We moved out after the first night, losing 5 nights' payments. ( they did give us a 50 pound refund as a gesture)

The location is great. It's a 5 minute walk from the subway and a minute from multiple bus stops that can get you anywhere. Many great spots are also within walking distance. The bed was comfy and the apartment was clean. Suzy was very responsive to any questions we had and left very clear check in instructions.

That blue couch in the pictures is the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on. It is worse than a Spirit Airlines seat. I know it's just a couch, and it's not like we travelled to Glasgow to sit on a couch and watch tv, but we do like to unwind at the end of the day and this couch is really, really bad. Past that, the closet that holds the washing machine is full of junk and is pretty gross, so getting to the outlet to plug in the machine was a bit of an unwanted adventure.

No breakfast included. Location was very good.

Management Company would not accommodate my simple request to send check-in information early. I kept losing the internet in Inverness - it was very unreliable, so I needed a back-up plan and some common-sense guest support. Also, I'm a senior traveler and it would have been helpful to know that the flat was on the top floor. My train was five hours late and it was only the kindness of my taxi driver that allowed me to enter the flat, with heavy luggage. The flat is described as a LUXURY apartment and I was so shocked when I entered! The living room reeked of cigarette smoke. The actual furniture configuration doesn't match the website photo, so after they took the promo photo, it was necessary to re-arrange the couch placement. Otherwise the couch prevents opening the closet where the washing machine and the WIFI equipment are located. I'm a builder, specifically a cabinet-maker and I measured. The result is - upon entering the living room/dining - the most appalling, smelly, ANYTHING BUT LUXURIOUS room - with only a couch in the living room. No end-tables, no coffee table, no lamps and all the decorative items are plastic. There was also a small table placed directly under the TV (that didn't work) that was used for the remotes. Also, there was no WiFi for the first two days of my eight day stay. Why is this misleading and false description still posted?! And to be truthful, this dishonest description became a big problem with trying to deal with the Management Company and salvage my stay. To be fair, they did eventually get the WIFI to work, but our communication deteriorated before I could discuss a refund.

Comfortable furnishings, clean, washer and drying rack, great location for walking or transportation, easy self check-in, good value.

No furniture to place luggage, no hooks for towels or clothing. Should remove kitchen door - interferes with fridge

The entrante to the building/stairwell was awful. Also the TV did not allora me to see normal British TV like BBC and ITV etc.

Location is ideal- it's close to university of Glasgow as well the city center. The shower/bathroom was nice & the place was aesthetically pleasing. The apartment feels a bit packed as there's not a lot of free space to move around, but is overall a good place.

I couldn't get through their representative over the phone when I tried ringing them a day prior to my check-in. I did receive a file with detailed instructions the next day, but I would've liked a quick call to confirm my stay. Also, there are no elevators to the apartment-I don't mind this but just a heads up for people with health-related issues.
