Run down and not as advertised

Tried to blame me for breaking things and charge me £170 for something I didn’t do. Scammers

The property was in an excellent location, within walking distance of the centre. The apartment was clean and nice and warm.

The entrance, main balcony to flat was dirty, cigarette ends seemed the biggest issue but there was also rubbish. The bed was very noisy and uncomfortable as was the couch.

Host was absolutely fab, very helpful! Easy check in. The apartment is cute and very handy to have a pub and shop so close. TV was huge which was lovely. Balcony nice to sit on.

Unfortunately it wasn’t what we had hoped for overall. The host was fabulous and helpful however after travelling for 8 hours we arrived to find the bed was broken and hanging by half a screw. The bedroom door was hanging off hinges and didn’t close. These were fixed thanks to the host however the bed is weak and not comfy, the apartment also gets absolutely boiling all night. The bathroom has an awful smell when doors left shut as there is a slow leak in the back of the toilet. Didn’t realise the balcony overlooked a non stop busy motorway and building site which was very noisy. The sofa’s weren’t comfy at all and were stained. We stayed for a night in to find there were no spare baking trays, only one, no kitchen towel or anything to clean surfaces. There was smelly washing left in the washing machine and considering we paid over £550 sadly was disappointed we didn’t even get the bare minimum. We arrived to find parking was so expensive and you could only stay in one space for 3 hours at a cost, we were offered the free parking space by the host but through no fault of their own we even had an issue with that. The apartment entrance and lifts are so dirty and smelly too it isn’t pleasant. The apartment as a whole is nice however for the price could be made more to a better comfort and maintained so much better, there was paint peeling from walls and things falling apart - very sad to have spent so much money.
