Lodge 37 Rowardennan, Loch Lomond

Clean, spacious, great view, comfy bed and good value if 4 travellers (sadly we were two).

Internet did not work. There are no instructions provided - ie. I spent 30 mins fiddling with radiators only to finally realize they were not longer in service and replaced by a heat pump. The Booking.com description does not indicated that the cottage is owned by the adjacent hotel and checkin is at hotel - why keep that a secret?

Location was beautiful.

The lodge was not clean. The beds were not comfortable. The property clearly needs updating and renovation. It is very expensive for the standard provided. However, there are limited alternatives on this stage of the West Highland Way which no doubt book out first.

The landscape was beautiful. The cabin was nice. The showers got hot, which was very much appreciated!

The internet/ tv connection was terrible. We were watching a movie and about an hour in, it just stopped due to poor connection.

Space, decor, beds.

Lodge 37 is a beautiful, luxury lodge in the banks of Loch Lomond. We can not rate it highly enough. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, as we were walking the West Highland Way, but we wished we could have stayed longer. We didn't get a chance to fire up the BBQ or sit around the fire pit or even use all of the lovely cooking gear. We just used it as overnighter and it served us very well.

BBQ looked a bit tired. Other than that, all wonderful.

Beautiful lodge but let down by the faults

On arrival alot of things were broken & not clean Fridge is warm so doesnt keep anything cool, coffee table is broken, wardrobe doors are missing, one of the dining chairs were broken, bedroom tv was broke, food found underneath the sofa, also found glass, rat poision and rusty nails on the floor which isnt great when you have a crawling baby!! Couple of towels were dirty along with cob webs and spiders in corners. The bedroom blind and shower doors were also broken.
