Apartment zur schönen Sophie

The Location is perfect and the apartment was clean.

The Wifi didn‘t work and there wasn’t a coffee machine as listed

The location and surroundings are beautiful, and the house itself looks modern. The good part ends right about here.

The host has very questionable communication and almost succeeded in scamming us. We have paid up front, and contacted her on the day of our arrival. On the phone she said that we could check in anytime, since it is all automatic, and she will send us the codes to get into the place. Unfortunately, she never sent anything. At 6 PM we messaged her, and from 7 to 8 PM we kept calling continuously (five or six times) but she never answered, it all went to her voicemail. At 9 PM we have called customer service, for whom she picked up the phone (how surprising: she is monitoring voicemails), and sent us the access codes immediately, like nothing had happened. The cleanliness of the accommodation left a lot to be desired: the floor was stained, the mirror was dirty, the toilet seat was broken, a crumpled roll of toilet paper next to it. The towels were so stiff it felt like drying off with sandpaper. The bed creaked so loudly that even the smallest movement in your sleep would wake you up.

Die Lage ist direkt im Stadtzentrum von Gmunden, also ausgezeichnet. Das Apartment ist sehr schön, groß, stilvoll eingerichtet und auch sehr sauber. Generell ist das Gebäude sehr schön und scheint frischt renoviert worden zu sein. Das Apartment ist ehrlich gesagt viel schöner als man das von den paar Fotos erwartet :) man könnte vl die Fotos optimieren

Bei der Küche fallen einem die Laden entgegen, wenn man versucht zu öffnen.
